We hereby would like to invite You to co-operation with educational unit, The Secondary Economic Schools in Ostrow Wielkopolski, Poland.
Within the framework of our unit there are diffrent types of schools: The Technical Economical college, The Technical Trade college, The Profile Secondary School (Lycee) and The Vocational School. We also educate adults in the Technical Economical College and the Technical Trade College.
In the process of education the students have a possibility to obtain the practical skills in the occupations they are learning. We have got rich 80-year tradition of both education and training. Our school was established in 1925 on the initiative and with efforts of Ostrow Society of Christian Tradesmen. Our school is highly respected in the southern region of Wielkopolska for several tens of years. We educate medium-level office and administration workers. Our graduates are employed in such institutions as banks, inland revenues/fiscal offices, trade and service companies as well as the administrative posts in the municipal and county’s authorities. The majority of our graduates continues their education at higher schools.
The school emphasises great importance to foreign languages learning – German and English. Business and office languages are taught in the upper forms. Our school educates in both vocational and general subjects. Students finish their studies at the school with the practical exam of the business knowledge as well as the general subjects exam. The learners are aged 16-22.
At present our school has received a ‘pro-European school’ status in the region. It has occurred by successful participations in various contents and competitions, e.g. Our Europe, The European Union’s Knowledge Contest, a project: Become a Negotiator.
The school has a modern technical equipment for its disposal. Our teachers are open with innovations novelties of education and training. They are prepared to co-operate and exchange the experience and ideas. Besides curriculum education, our teachers try to help parents to solve educational problems. The school ensures both the students and their parents pedagogical consultancy.
Our teachers and students will eagerly establish co-operation with Your school. We are interested in joint projects, familiarizing with the regions, their history and contemporary problems in the first and foremost economic context, in the office, legal and social issues as well as establishing and maintaining contacts.

We are the College from Ostrow Wlkp., Poland. There are 650 students in our school. It is based in the Wielkopolska region. We educate students age 16-22 in the economic, trade and office occupations. We are looking for partners to co-coperate within the frameworks of international projects in the field of economy, literature, history, biology and office, legal and social issues.
We would like to familiarize ourselves with the region, history and contemporary matters of the area where our partner school is located.
